Individual Identity and Community

Repetition of units need not be boring. They can have more individual identity yet still be cost effective through sensitive design. The siting of the buildings can create "people spaces" rather than just lined up to parking lots. The " New Urbanism" is intended to transcend "just" housing into community. This is manifesting itself in emerging in mixed-use residential/commercial development
